To link your activity data to Athletica, you’ll need to make sure your fitness tracker is sharing everything it collects with Apple Health. Follow the steps below for your device.

Garmin Devices

Garmin does not sync directly to Apple Health on its own. You must use the Garmin Connect app.

Step 1: Install Garmin Connect

Download Garmin Connect from the App Store. Sign in and make sure your watch is paired.

Step 2: Allow Garmin Connect to Write to Apple Health

1. Open the Garmin Connect app.

2. Select More.

3. Select Settings.

4. Select Connect Apps.

5. Select Apple Health under "Available Apps."

6. Select Connect with Apple Health.

7. Select the items that Garmin Connect can access.

8. Select Allow.

Step 3: Confirm Permissions in Apple Health

To enable or disable sharing data from Garmin Connect to Apple Health:

1. Open the Apple Health app.

2. Select Summary (bottom left).

3. Select your Profile Picture (top right).

4. Select Apps and Services under Privacy.

5. Select the Connect app.

6. Toggle Categories on or off.
