Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 December 2025

Athletica is dedicated to protecting your personal information and delivering a safe, transparent, and secure experience across all of our services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you interact with any Athletica product. This includes our website, our apps (Athletica App, Athletica+ App, and Squad+ App), online platforms, educational programs, training systems, and subscription plans (Core, Pro, Squad, and Squad+). By using any of our services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Athletica collects information to provide a personalised, high-quality experience across all platforms. The information we gather falls into several categories.

1.1 Information you provide to us directly

When you create an account, use our apps, purchase a subscription, or communicate with us, you may provide personal information including your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and password. If you make a purchase through any Athletica service, payment information will be processed securely through approved third-party providers; Athletica itself does not store full payment card details.

If you engage with training programs, assessments, or any personalised performance tools, you may provide optional fitness-related information such as your goals, training history, current fitness level, and activity data. If you are using Squad+ or Athletica+ for a team, club, or organisation, we may also collect relevant club details, team member information, and communication preferences.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Whenever you use the Athletica website or any Athletica apps, we automatically collect device information such as your device type, operating system, browser version, IP address, and general location data (e.g. country or region). We also collect usage data, including the pages or screens you view, the actions you take, and the time spent on various parts of the platform. Cookies, app analytics, and similar tracking technologies help us understand how users interact with our services so we can improve usability and performance.

1.3 Information from third parties

Athletica may receive information from trusted partners, such as payment processors, login providers (e.g., Apple or Google sign-in), or organisations using Squad+ to manage their members. This data is only used to provide the service you have chosen to use and is handled in accordance with this policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used to operate, improve, and personalise all Athletica services. We use your information to create and maintain your account, deliver subscription benefits, and provide access to personalised training programs, courses, and performance tracking features. For team-based services, such as Squad+, we use your information to enable communication between club administrators, coaches, and athletes, and to support the delivery of team-specific tools through the Squad+ app.

We also use your data to enhance the functionality and reliability of our website and apps. This includes improving stability, preventing technical issues, analysing user behaviour, and developing new features. Athletica may use your contact details to send service updates, training reminders, important notices, and relevant promotions. You can change your communication preferences at any time.

Your data may also be used for safety, compliance, fraud prevention, and to ensure that all users follow Athletica’s terms and community guidelines.

3. How We Share Your Information

Athletica only shares personal data when it is necessary to deliver our services or when required by law. We may share information with trusted third parties, such as payment processors, analytics providers, hosting platforms, cloud storage systems, and customer support tools. These partners are required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

If you use Squad+ or any Athletica service connected to a club or team, certain information may be shared with authorised club administrators or coaches to support communication, performance monitoring, and team management. We never sell or rent your personal information to any organisation.

Athletica may also disclose information if legally required, such as complying with a court order, preventing harm, or protecting the rights and safety of our users.

4. Data Storage and Security

We store your information using secure, modern systems designed to protect against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, or disclosure. This includes encryption, authentication methods, regular system reviews, and secure hosting environments. While no digital system can guarantee absolute security, Athletica continually updates its practices to meet industry standards and safeguard user information. If a data breach were ever to occur, we would notify affected users promptly and take corrective action.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your personal data. You may access, update, or correct your details at any time through your Athletica account settings. You may also request to delete your account or obtain a copy of your data. If your information is connected to a club or team via Squad+, you can request clarification about what data is visible to administrators.

You may opt out of promotional communications, although essential service notifications will still be sent to ensure platform functionality and safety.

To exercise your rights, you can contact Athletica.

6. Children’s Privacy

Athletica is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from young children. If we learn that information has been collected from a user under this age, we will remove it as quickly as possible. Squad+ and team-based services may be used by younger athletes only with proper organisational or parental oversight.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Athletica uses cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies to understand how users interact with our website and apps. These tools help us improve navigation, measure performance, and deliver a better user experience. You can adjust your browser or device settings to manage cookie preferences, though certain features may not function properly without them.

8. Third-Party Links and External Services

Athletica services may contain links to other websites, apps, or external tools. These platforms operate independently from Athletica, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We recommend reviewing their policies before providing personal information.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Athletica may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When significant changes occur, we will notify users through our website, app notifications, or email. Continued use of Athletica services after updates means you accept the revised policy.
